EastEnders icon Shaun Williamson is reportedly charging up to £3,000 for a private gig amid his successful UK karaoke tour.

The 56 year old shot to fame thanks to his role as Barry Evans on the popular BBC soap from 1994 to 2004 but has now turned to singing to continue his foray in the entertainment industry.

And fans have been happily splashing out for a ticket, which retails between £15 to £25, for the gigs, named The Barrioke tour, which kicks off in Southampton on February 4.

Of course, if fans want a private gig with the legendary soap star, they would need to splash out in their thousands for a coveted gig.

Speaking of their delight about nabbing a ticket to Shaun's Plymouth gig in May, a fan said: "I've been waiting ten years for this".

Another revealed to The Mirror they had "cancelled their wedding" just to attend.

Shaun kicked off his Barrioke tour in November 2021 in Bedford, which quickly sold out.

His April 2022 performance in Tunbridge Wells is his only sold-out gig this year so far.

The television actor's agent Noel Cornford said: "Shaun's first appearances were at festivals, and he went down so well we decided to spread it around.

"People really enjoy themselves. There is a broad demographic, and they get the irony. We've had quite a few wedding requests."

Last summer, Shaun impressed as he sang a rendition of Neil Diamond's Sweet Caroline at Croydon's Boxpark while England prepared to take on Demark in the Euro 2020 semi-final.

The passionate singer has also taken his vocal talents to the West End, where he has starred in productions such as Guys and Dolls.

He also toured the country in the 2012 stage revival of the flick, The Ladykillers.

On the personal front, in 2020, Shaun revealed how he reunited with his long lost son after a rollercoaster romance with a trapeze artist 26 years prior.

The pair went their separate ways after Shaun decided to pursue a life in acting.

However, just three months after they called it quits, the trapeze artist discovered she was pregnant with his child.

26 year later, the father and son reunited in Ireland and bonded over drinks and a few games of pool.

Shaun is now married to Adele Seager.
