Fall Out Boy‘s Pete Wentz has launched a new show on Apple Music, “Loud And Sad Radio.”
The new program, which will air every Monday on Apple Music Hits, will feature a “weekly collection of music and ideas that represents Pete, including movies, emo, rap, punk rock, classic rock, sneakers, bad jokes, dad jokes, Twitter ephemera, and beyond.”
“You’ve really got to think about this as moments meeting from divergent courses, somewhere in the realm of the TV show ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ meets the movie Drive,” Wentz said. “And this is what Loud And Sad Radio is.”
He added, “It doesn’t have to be loud and it doesn’t have to be sad, but there’s some things that just have that vibe. ‘Loud And Sad’ is a vibe to me.”
The show debuted on April 12. The first episode saw Pete playing works by several artists, including Paramore, Metallica, The Weeknd and Artic Monkeys, in addition to sharing stories about Fall Out Boy’s “Thanks Fr The Mmrs” music video, featuring Kim Kardashian.
He also talked about Batman, the Beatles and Aerosmith during the first episode.
