Five Finger Death Punch Earn Seventh Straight No. 1 On Mainstream Rock Airplay Chart

Five Finger Death Punch have earned their seventh straight No. 1 on Billboard‘s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart.

FFDP’s “Darkness Settles In” rose from 2nd position to No. 1 on the July 3-dated survey. The band has now tied Disturbed for the most consecutive No. 1s on the list.

FFDP now also has 11 total No. 1s on Mainstream Rock Airplay, dating to its first, “Coming Down,” in September 2012. The band ties Godsmack for the fourth-most leaders since the chart began in 1981.

“Darkness Settles In” is the fourth single from F8, the band’s eighth studio LP. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Hard Rock Albums chart in March 2020 and has earned 325,000 equivalent album units since its release.
