In the caption of her loving social media post, the No Doubt frontwoman describes the longtime ‘The Voice’ coach as ‘the most generous patient loving funny guy.’
AceShowbiz –Gwen Stefani acknowledges Blake Shelton‘s role in her children’s life on Father’s Day. Honoring her fiance, who hasn’t had a kid of his own, on the special day, the No Doubt frontwoman shared pictures of the country music star with her sons in a sweet tribute post.
“Happy father’s day to the most generous patient loving funny guy i know – we love u so much @blakeshelton gx,” the 51-year-old singer captioned her Sunday, June 20 Instagram post. In the tribute post, she shared a collection of throwback photos featuring the longtime “The Voice” coach with her boys 15-year-old Kingston, 12-year-old Zuma and 7-year-old Apollo, all of whom she shares with her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale.
Gwen’s Father’s Day post came just days after she celebrated Blake’s birthday. On Friday, June 18, the “Hollaback Girl” singer marked her fiancee’s 45th birthday by throwing him a surprise party at home with family and close friends.
On her Instagram feeds, Gwen, who has just celebrated her bridal shower, shared two videos and a photo showing the soon-to-be-married couple sharing a sweet kiss. “Celebrating my besties b day today love u @blakeshelton #surprise #fiance #Gemini #2021 #june18 #favoritecountrysinger gx,” she wrote in the caption.
In one clip, her youngest son Apollo could be seen entering the backyard with a set of gold balloons before Gwen and Blake made their way in which prompted the guests to yell, “Surprise!” excitedly. In the next video, the “God’s Country” crooner was seen all smiles when everyone sang “Happy Birthday” to him. Additionally, in the last slide of the post, she included a photo of herself and the eight-time Grammy nominee locking lips.
Last year, Gwen also paid a sweet tribute to Blake, thanking him for helping her raise her kids. The “Just a Girl” singer captioned a slideshow that included pics of her now-fiancee with her kids throughout the years, “Happy father’s day @blakeshelton. Thank u for helping me raise these boys!! #weloveyou! G.K.Z.A gx.”
