Let’s cook! Gwyneth Paltrow was in the kitchen in a new post shared to her GOOP Instagram page on Wednesday

Light and easy: The 50-year-old Oscar-winning actress was making a salmon salad which she said was a ‘Detox reset’ meal that she chatted up on her GOOP site

The comments overall were mixed with several people upset about the salmon that appeared to be farmed not line caught.

‘That farm raised salmon she’s eating is probably the most toxic,’ said one person.

There was another comment on her salmon: ‘It was going so well until she used farmed salmon instead of wild.’

And it just went on from there: ‘I just read an article on how bad salmon is for you out of most fish. It retains the most mercury amongst other things.’

So many critics: Though the cookbook author looked like she knew what she was doing in the kitchen, some of her followers trashed her for various reasons

Pout it on: Some were upset she was using farmed salmon, others were irked that she was not using all of her asparagus stalks and then there was a person who disliked her using the word ‘detox’

Another follower did not like Paltrow using the word ‘detox.’

‘So for example, people go to “detox” to get sober/clean from alcohol and drugs because they are poison. Your organs detox you every day. What foods are poisonous enough that you need to detox? Removing certain foods from your diet is not the same as going through a detox,’ it was stated.

The salad was basically salmon on a bed of veggies – carbs were not invited to this party.

The veggies consisted of grilled asparagus, green onions and squash cooked under the broiler but she said you could use whatever you had in your fridge.

When she chopped up the asparagus she did not use all of the stalk, which made some followers unhappy saying it was a ‘waste.’

She next broiled two pieces of salmon brushed with olive oil and when it was done she laid out the fish on a bed of romaine lettuce.

A beef with her salmon: ‘That farm raised salmon she’s eating is probably the most toxic,’ said one person. There was another comment on her salmon: ‘It was going so well until she used farmed salmon instead of wild’

Next came out a ‘real simple’ chive maple Dijon vinaigrette which she layered on with a spoon.

‘I mean, look how bountiful and beautiful this is… it is nutrient dense, that’s a big meal,’ she shared.

The Instagram caption read: ‘Day 7 | Recipes so good you’ll forget you’re on a reset. There are a lot of recipes (and no-recipe recipes) to choose from as you plan your week—your Reset Guide will walk you through everything in detail. Link in bio shop now.’

So much salmon talk: And it just went on from there: ‘I just read an article on how bad salmon is for you out of most fish. It retains the most mercury amongst other things’

‘Thank you so much for following along my Goop Reset meal, I am feeling really good,’ ended the mother of two who used to be wed to rocker Chris Martin.

The Shakespeare In Love star wore a V-neck light gray sweater with high-waisted jeans that gave a hint of her toned tummy.

She had her blonde hair down and wore no makeup but added a few rings to her fingers for sparkle.
