Holly Hagan and Sophie Kasaei insist ‘we were never close to Vicky Pattinson’ amid ‘feud’

Charlotte Crosby reignited her feud with Vicky Pattison by revealing they were "never really friends" after starring on Geordie Shore together 11 years ago.

And now, pals Sophie Kasaei, 32, and Holly Hagan, 30, have shed some light on the situation, backing Charlotte's words.

Sophie told OK!: "I have to be the pillar of the community in that I’m civil with everyone. I’m good friends with Vicky but there’ll sometimes be little comments on Instagram between her and the other girls. Realistically, we were never that close with Vicky as a group."

Holly added: "We’re all similar, whereas she’s quite a bit older. She had a different sense of humour.
She was more serious."

Sophie continued: "When she left Geordie Shore, she wanted to go down the presenting path and do other TV stuff. We were like daft kids."

It comes after pregnant Charlotte, 32, told The Sun "there wasn't a fallout" as she and Vicky just went their separate ways after filming together.

"We were never really friends in the first place, so I am not really sure to be honest," she shared.

"I don’t think we were, we were probably just workmates. There wasn’t really a fallout, but she just moved on and we went our separate ways. We haven’t spoken."

Speaking to OK! previously, Vicky revealed why she turned down the offer to return to Geordie Shore for its reunion series.

"It brought out the very worst qualities in me and I’ve no desire to relive any of it," she said in April.

"I wish them the absolute best, and I’ve no doubt it’s going to be incredible because they’re all amazing people and brilliant characters. But it didn’t make me happy at all."

She went on to say: "I’m finally in a place where I’m loved and I’m happy and I’ve got great people around me.

"Why would I take myself back to a time that was traumatic?”

In July, the star explained how she felt pressure to be who the Geordie Shore producers wanted her to be.

"I don’t blame the producers for anything, but I didn’t have the skills to navigate being surrounded by that much alcohol," she added.

"I was young and felt the pressure to be who they wanted me to be, and that made me feel so powerless. It definitely exacerbated my issues. I became a complete caricature."

Geordie Shore: The Reunion is on Paramount+ UK and MTV
