Holly Hagan has embraced her cellulite in a series of striking bikini snaps.

The former Geordie Shore star looked sensational as she soaked up the sunshine in a green bikini top in the snaps shared to her Instagram on Wednesday.

She added a lengthy caption in which she urged her Instagram followers to "respect" their own cellulite and "not let it stop them enjoying their summer".

The 29 year old candidly wrote: "I'll be totally honest with you all if I could click my fingers and remove my cellulite, I would.

Do I love it? No, but I don't believe I have to."

Holly continued: "You can't just magically love something you've been taught to hate. It doesn't work like that.

"I'll never tell you to love yours neither because I'd be a hypocrite. But what I will tell you is to not allow a bit of cellulite which is completely normal to stop you enjoying the summer."

Holly added: "You don't have to love your body, but you should respect it. It's your home and has far more uses that it's appearance.

"So wear the bikini, the shorts, the skirt and don't let anyone tell you that you can't," she concluded the post.

Taking to the comments section, one fan penned: "Gorgeous in every way," and another added: "The genuineness of this photo," followed by a heart eye emoji.

A third added: "U have loyalty inspired me to buy a pair of denim shorts and wear them for the first time in 32 years!! Always hated on my legs cus they are so out of proportion to my upper body and got a lot of cellulite but ur posts have really helped convince me that it’s normal and it’s ok xxxx"

This comes after Holly revealed she thinks this year's Love Island stars are too "self-aware" to give in to their urges and have sex on TV.

Speaking exclusively to OK! about the current series of the ITV2 reality show, Holly reflected on her own bedroom antics in the famous Geordie Shore house and how today's reality stars are much more knowledgeable about what they're letting themselves in for.

Holly said: "I don't think any of them will have sex on TV as they all want the brand deals."

Holly continued: "And they all know that, unfortunately, having sex on TV does limit your opportunities when you come out."
