Anthony McPartlin, 46, and Declan Donnelly, 47, are currently in Australia gearing up for the launch of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! this weekend. The host has multiple, small tattoos that can easily be missed but his new addition is a big, bold tribute.
As he posed proudly for a picture with his co-host, Ant displayed his new large tattoo.
The geometric tattoo is a replica of the black and white floor mural in New York dedicated to the Beatles singer John Lennon.
The mural in Central Park, just like Ant’s new ink, has the word ‘Imagine’ in the centre, in tribute to the singer’s most iconic song.
It was funded by John’s widow Yoko Ono, who requested that instead of making a statue as tribute to John, the park create a living memorial instead.
A patch of land in the park was then named Strawberry Fields, filled with thousands of plants, trees and shrubs and the Imagine mosaic.
The mosaic has since become a gathering place for John’s fans, who usually attend vigils there on his birthday.
Ant’s black and white tattoo shows the same geometric patterns of circles and squares on his right forearm.
The I’m A Celeb presenter teased fans over the months as he showed glimpses of his new artwork on the official Ant and Dec Instagram page.
It was first spotted as the two hosts went to South Africa to film a “very special version of I’m A Celebrity”.
Dec joked that this news was “probably the worst kept secret in television”.
They announced the series would be airing in 2023 after the current Australian season ends.
The Beatles inspired ink is the latest tattoo to be added to Ant’s collection.

Most of his other tattoos are also tributes to important people and ideals.
He reportedly has the Alcoholics Anonymous symbol inked on his left wrist, a triangle surrounded by a circle of mirrors.
The small tattoo represents his battle and victory over alcohol and substance abuse.
Among his larger artwork is a chest piece dedicated to his wife Anne-Marie Corbett.
The sweet tattoo features a heart with a circle and the letter A.
This also isn’t the first time Ant has started the I’m A Celeb season with fresh ink.
In 2019, he showcased two new tattoos, an arrow on his right outer forearm and a rose on his left.
I’m A Celebrity begins on ITV on Sunday, November 6 at 9pm.
