Frankie Bridge reportedly asked I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! bosses if she could wash her knickers as they smelled like "fish guts".

The 32 year old, who has been communicating with her family with secret gestures while in the camp, is said to have made the request to ITV bosses after contestants were removed from Gwrych castle while Storm Arwen was in full rage.

The former Saturdays singer is said to have got her way, which meant the other 11 celebrities were given permission to do the same for the first time in I'm A Celeb history.

“Frankie only asked two questions when the celebrities were taken out of came, did Storm Arwen affect Surrey where her family are and could she wash her knickers?" a source told The Sun.

They continued: “She really petitioned hard for her pants and moaned that they stank of fish guts and offal."

The insider went on to explain that contestants of the competition show has very "basic washing facilities" and ITV bosses "took pity" on the contestants while they were back in isolation.

"The conditions in camp have been incredibly tough and with all the upheaval, bosses felt they should be kind," they added.

It comes after hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, both 46, were left overjoyed as ITV bosses confirmed the show will return tonight, Tuesday 30 November, following three cancelled live shows.

The pair shared a video and wrote on their social channels: “Good news!!
