TV presenter Jeff Brazier has reacted to the news that his eldest son Bobby Brazier will be joining the 2023 Strictly Come Dancing celeb lineup.
The proud dad, 44, revealed that Strictly viewers will be impressed by his son's "politeness and his manners."
Jeff also took to Instagram to share his excitement with his 260,000 followers.
Just moments after Strictly Come Dancing uploaded a dazzling clip revealing 20-year-old Bobby as the 12th celeb to join the show, Jeff reposted the glitzy video to his page.
He sweetly wrote: "Go on the boy," followed by a red heart emoji alongside the clip.
Jeff's wife, Kate Dwyer, also shared the exciting announcement to her Instagram Stories, writing: "Proud of you @bobbybrazier."
The couple recently rekindled their marriage seven months after their split.
Speaking to The Mirror, Jeff revealed: "He's going to get to learn a lot about himself. It's going to be really difficult, he's going to have to really dig in. There's a lot to learn, then you forget it all and there's another routine!
"I have no doubt he'll impress people with his politeness and his manners. He has a really beautiful nature, he makes you feel good – that's his gift. I can't wait to see him share it with everybody else."
Former model Bobby first set foot in Albert Square on the cast of EastEnders playing Freddie Slater, the son of Little Mo Slater, in Autumn 2022.
When Bobby joined the BBC show, dad Jeff gushed about how "proud" he was of his son in a sweet post.
But prior to his soap debut, Bobby had forged himself a successful modelling career, starring in campaigns for the likes of Superdry and Moschino.
He is the oldest son of TV star Jeff Brazier and the late Big Brother star Jade Goody. He has a younger brother called Freddie.
Jade and Jeff were a celebrity power couple when they were together from 2002-2004.
The brothers were aged just five and four when their beloved mother tragically died of cervical cancer in 2009 when she was 27-years-old. Freddie and Bobby were then raised by dad Jeff.
Back in March, Bobby and his brother Freddie were spotted taking part in a walk in London's Piccadilly Circus to mark the 14th anniversary of Jade's death.
Nowadays, Bobby continues to make his mum proud every day with his rise to fame and has become a star in his own right..
