As she prepares to tie the knot with fiancé William Lee-Kemp in September, Jess Wright is feeling the pressure to look her best for the big day – especially following her recent psoriasis flare-up.
“She is a perfectionist,” a source close to the 35-year-old told new. “She puts a lot of pressure on herself in everything she does. All brides want to look great, but Jess knows all the cameras and eyes will be on her and she wants to look perfect.”
Recently, the former TOWIE star shared a candid post revealing that her battle with skin condition psoriasis has worsened over the last few months.
“This past year has mentally took a toll on us all, in particular for me the past six months. So currently my psoriasis is not budging,” she explained on Instagram.
Jess added she was doing everything possible to find a “miracle cure”, including taking vitamins and changing her diet.
And our source said her desire to be the flawless bride is only making it worse.
“Her skin has suffered – her psoriasis can flare up when she’s stressed and it isn’t clearing up,” continued the source.
“After all her family has been through, it’s not helping her skin.”
Our source also added that with stunning sister-in-law Michelle Keegan as her bridesmaid, Jess is putting even more pressure on herself to look amazing.
“She’s got a gorgeous sister and sister-in-law and she’s surrounded by beautiful people,” said the source.
“She wants to be the bride that everyone is looking at. Plus, she wants to look great for the camera.”
They added, “She’s got to learn how to not put herself under so much pressure. Sadly with this skin condition, the more stressed you are the worse it gets.”
Last month, Jess opened up to newabout getting in shape as she prepares to walk down the aisle.
“It’s definitely all for the wedding,” she said of her new fitness regime.
“It’s been at the forefront of my mind when doing all of this training – I just think about being in my dress.”
She added, “I feel like there’s so much pressure. When I walk down that aisle, there’s going to be a lot of eyes on me. And I want to feel good for myself, too.”
