Scarlett admitted in an interview in May last year that she had to get over a ‘sense of shame’ when she sparked up a romance with Jimmy.

Speaking to Tatler at the time, Scarlett said while the pair are in an ‘amazing relationship’ seven years on, at the beginning she felt like her ‘life was going to be over’, as she struggled with the assumptions made about them.

She said: ‘It’s funny because on paper there is a massive difference. But when he’s standing in front of me, it’s not something I feel. It’s not something that impedes us.

‘I guess some people will say I’ve made an unusual choice. At the time it felt very uncomfortable. I felt like my life was going to be over. I had such a sense of shame about the whole thing.’

Jimmy, who split from his second wife Jimena Gómez-Paratcha in 2008, was first seen with Scarlett at high street chicken restaurant Nando’s.

Despite being known for maintaining his privacy, sources told the Daily Mail at the time they were stunned by his new romance.

‘Everyone was quite surprised by this,’ an insider said. ‘The thing about Jimmy though is that he won’t say a word about his private life – he never has.’

However in 2015, a source revealed that Jimmy was delighted with the ordinary life he leads with Scarlett, after years in the spotlight.

They told The Sun: ‘Jimmy is leading a very conventional life by the looks of things, not very rock’n’roll. His new girlfriend seems a very normal kind of girl.’

Page’s eldest daughter, coincidentally called Scarlet, is 18 years older than his girlfriend.

The contraversial couple stepped out together for the premiere of the new documentary, Becoming Led Zeppelin, which follows the individual lives of Jimmy, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones and the late John Bonham as they became the number one band in the world.

Opening in the 1960s when the iconic rock band were playing small clubs across the UK before hurtling towards fame in the summer of 1968, the movie showcases the turbulant ride that the four band members faced to top the American charts and score global success.

Director Bernard MacMahon told Deadline of the film: ‘My goal was to make a documentary that looks and feels like a musical. I wanted to weave together the four diverse stories of the band members before and after they formed their group with large sections of their story advanced using only music and imagery and to contextualize the music with the locations where it was created and the world events that inspired it.

‘I used only original prints and negatives, with over 70,000 frames of footage manually restored, and devised fantasia sequences, inspired by Singin’ In The Rain, layering unseen performance footage with montages of posters, tickets and travel to create a visual sense of the freneticism of their early career.’
