Kate Ferdinand has described potty training her son Cree as "hell" and shared her top tips in the latest instalment of her podcast Blended.
The former The Only Way Is Essex star, 31, shared a new episode on Thursday, where she spoke about everything from her pregnancy to hospital dashes.
Kate, who is expecting her second child with husband Rio Ferdinand, detailed how "difficult" it's been to potty train her two year old son Cree and shared advice for fellow parents, as well as giving them insight into what to expect.
"Brace yourself for a week of hell," the 31 year old joked.
Describing what she found difficult about potty training Cree, Kate said she was constantly repeating herself and at time felt like she was "failing".
"It's hard work, you repeat yourself constantly, you say the same thing all the time. And you feel like at certain stages you're failing. They might have a little lapse backward. It was really, really, difficult," she explained.
However, the soon-to-be mum-of-two revealed that once the first and most difficult week is over, everything is then "kind of OK" and described Cree's training as a "work in progress".
Kate also told how she found it easier to stay at home for the first few days after beginning potty training with Cree, and that she used "sticker charts" and toys to help the process.
Elsewhere on the new episode of Kate's podcast, she revealed she thinks she and Rio, 44, are "cool parents" thanks to their music taste and gave a glimpse into their home life.
Kate and ex-footballer Rio are set to welcome a new addition to their family later this year, with the couple announcing in January that they're expecting their second child.
Alongside son Cree, Kate is also step-mum to Rio's three eldest children Lorenz Ferdinand, 16, Tia Ferdinand, 12, and Tate Ferdinand, 14, who he shared with his late wife Rebecca Ellison, who passed away in 2015 after a short battle with breast cancer.
The couple, who married back in 2019 in a beautiful beach ceremony in Marmaris, Turkey, have since revealed they're expecting a baby girl.
Kate shared details of her gender reveal party on Blended, revealing it didn't quite go to plan with Rio describing it as "bedlam".
