The Duchess of Cambridge is reportedly ready to support Prince William and Prince Harry put their differences aside when they reunite at the unveiling of their mother Princess Diana's statue.

It's been said the two brothers haven't been speaking as much in recent months after Harry overhauled his life to the US and gave a series of interviews speaking out on his "nightmare" experience within the Royal Family.

However, 36 year old Harry and William, who recently celebrated his 39th birthday, are ready to call a truce to keep the focus on their late mother when they come face to face at Kensington Palace on Thursday 1 July – on what would've been the Princess of Wales' 60th birthday.

The Duke of Sussex, his brother and Kate are expected to walk together at the event, but Diana's two sons will make separate speeches and jointly pay tribute to her as well as sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley.

Kate, 39, will allegedly help the day run smoothly by keeping her husband and Harry in check.

A royal source told MirrorOnline: “The Duchess has seen this project evolve from its conception and now to the finished article and undoubtedly wants to be there to support her husband."

The insider added: “No doubt there will be tensions between the Cambridges and Harry, but they all recognise that despite the obvious and deep rooted issues between them, they want the day to be solely about the Princess of Wales’s enduring legacy.”

This is set to be Harry and William's first meeting since Prince Philip's funeral in April.

While the brothers will reunite, it's been said that their 72 year old father Prince Charles will not be present for the special day.
