I had a brilliant time on Loose Women last week, talking about my new book Kerry Katona: Whole Again, which I wrote with OK!'s former celebrity editor, Sarah Morton. She even supported me backstage!
Don’t get me wrong, I found it difficult and emotional talking so openly about my ex, George Kay, but it’s always enjoyable going on the show. I had the best group of women sitting beside me. I’ve known Linda Robson and Coleen Nolan for years, and I absolutely love Janet Street-Porter. Jane Moore is great, too.
I need to be back on the panel as a regular – I bloody love it. It feels like home from home.
Speaking of Loose Women, last week Linda Robson revealed she’s never undressed in front of her husband Mark Dunford. She explained that her mum is Catholic and she never saw her undressed, so I guess that’s the way she’s been brought up.
I can’t really relate because that’s not the norm for me. I’ve never had a number two in front of Ryan – that’s where I draw the line.
But I always get undressed in front of him. Although saying that, when I’m not feeling my best I hate Ryan seeing my body, and I currently feel like that. I’m the biggest I’ve been since having babies.
My body is so swollen after my tummy tuck. But until I’ve had corrective surgery next year, there’s not much I can do about it. I know I’ll feel happier then.
Fearing the worst
Khloé Kardashian has revealed that she required immediate surgery following a cancer scare after finding a lump on her cheek.
She says that the doctors were able to successfully remove it and her margins are now clear. It’s so important to get these things checked out. I found a lump on my armpit last year and feared the worst. Thankfully, everything turned out to be OK, but that scare increased my health anxiety and it’s what started my fear over death.
That’s the very first time I realised I have no control over when I die. I’m a very controlling person, so it scares me a lot.
Sexy spa break!
I’m back-to-back with work from next week. I don’t have a day off until next year! It’s crazy, but I appreciate being busy and I know I’m fortunate to be working.
I do have a bit of time off this weekend, so me and Ryan are going to a spa. It’s not going to be very relaxing though, as it’s going to be a sex fest for us! We haven’t spent any quality time together in weeks. He recently got back from his lads’ trip to Ibiza – and brought Covid with him!
So we’ve been keeping apart and sleeping in different bedrooms until he recovered. It’ll be nice to be back in bed together and I’m looking forward to some “us” time.
MPs have said women should be invited for a menopause check-up at the age of 45 to screen for symptoms. That’s a good idea and I’d be more than happy to get checked out. I do panic thinking about going through the menopause.
As you know, we’re thinking of potentially having a baby via surrogacy. I have an appointment to get my eggs checked out, so I’m waiting to see if everything is still in working order. It is a worry.
