Liam Gallagher steps out with brother Paul after slamming Chris Whitty in tweet

Liam Gallagher has been spotted grabbing a coffee with his older brother Paul Gallagher – and the pair made sure to wrap up warm for the occasion.

The Oasis star, 48, and his older brother were seen carrying hot drinks to beat the chill as they had a friendly catch-up.

Liam was seen wearing a long, billowing black jacket with tight trousers and trainers, as well as a khaki green hat with ear flaps and a built in face covering which no doubt came in handy both to keep his face warm and to be Covid-compliant.

Paul was similarly dressed for the weather, in salmon-coloured sweatpants and a blue jacket with a blue hoody pulled up over his head.

Fans had shared the photos of Liam on Twitter, asking him where he got his jacket, to which he replied: ‘Snowpeak’.

Another had shared the images, adding: ‘You are very celestial,’ to which Liam had replied: ‘I’m messing about’.

Their trip comes after Liam tweeted and then deleted comments about the government’s Chief Medical Officer Chris Whitty.

Liam had posted: ‘That Chris Whitty is getting on my t***y he needs a slap!’, in response to his warnings that the ‘worst’ of the coronavirus pandemic is yet to come.

One fan replied: ‘Chris Whitty worked the wards over Christmas think he deserves a bit of respect. Sorry Liam.’, to which he responded: ‘Don’t be sorry just my opinion you take care x’.

Liam had also recently stoked the fans’ calls for an Oasis reunion and a possible end to his and Noel’s feud, after tweeting his brother on New Year’s Day to say: ‘HNY Noel love you long time 2021 is our year c’mon you know LG x’.

A fan once again asked when Oasis might be reuniting on Tuesday, tweeting: ‘Morning Sir…..What a great day it would be to reform the biggest band in the World.’

Not ruling out a reunion (if Noel one day agrees to end the feud for good), Liam replied: ‘Everyday would be a good day to bring the mighty 0 back.’
