Big ask? Will Young was seen asking his girlfriend Jessie Wynter to move from Australia and onto his farm in the UK

Another fan posted: ‘You know this season is fake because suddenly every single one of the couples decide to tell their partner that they’re falling in love and talk about it with everyone else. I mean… having Casey telling Rosie he’s falling for her gave it away. Please be serious.’

One other person shared: ‘Casey is desperately trying to secure a place in the final with these fake words.’

Perhaps predicting the future, another viewer posted: ‘I don’t buy Casey fake chat. He’s scary. Boy please. Yall not making it to the final.’

While someone else asked: ‘Hasn’t it been a week Casey?’

‘Oh boy, they’re getting in their “i love you” and “will you be my girlfriend” as it’s the final week this show is so fake man,’ remarked someone else.

Someone else tweeted: ‘So let me get this straight. This entire episode is just them pondering and reflecting on their forced fake friendships?’

While someone else wrote: ‘ARGHHHHH this lovey dovey stuff is so fake it’s crazy.’

Despite his feelings for Rosie, they weren’t enough to convince the viewing public as it was revealed they were the latest couple to be dumped from the island at the end of the episode.

All the feels: Kai and Sanam were seen saying how fond they were of each other ahead of the final, which is less than a week away

In it for the long run? Tom and Samie are one of the last couples in the villa who are in with a chance of winning the £50,000 prize

After leaving the villa, Casey said of his departure: ‘On one side I’m absolutely gutted but on the other side I’m buzzing and excited for the outside world.

‘I’ve had the best time of my life. It’s been the best experience and I’m leaving with a very special girl.’

On his plans with Rosie, he said: ‘I can’t wait to introduce her to my family and all my friends. I think that’s number one on my priority list. I need approval from my mum!

‘I’m just super excited to see where things go on the outside. I can’t wait to do some activities, go on dates, and spend some quality time with each other.

‘It’ll be nice also to be apart to see if I do really, really miss her.’

Rosie said of her departure: ‘It’s bittersweet to be leaving. The only thing that I would’ve changed is being able to build a stronger connection with Casey inside the villa for people to see but, we can continue to build that on the outside.

Not convinced? Viewers took to Twitter to vent their feelings about the declarations of love, which many called ‘fake’
