Love Island fans accuse one girl of trying to split up other couples

Love Island fans have voiced their suspicions about one of the female Islanders, after she encouraged her fellow girls to get to know the new guys in Casa Amor.

For the second year running, it was the girls, not the boys, who ventured into a separate villa to meet six new boys, whilst six new girls entered the main villa to acquaint with the existing guys.

But some fans of the show have called out Australian Islander Jessie Wynter as she gave the girls a pep talk, and insisted that they should "do what they want," despite there being a number of strong connections between the already-existing couples on the show.

Jessie, 26, is currently in a couple with TikTok farmer Will Young, 23, and their relationship has been going from strength to strength, although she told the other girl to explore potential connections in the Casa Amor villa.

Jessie, who recently revealed that she and Will had sex in the Hideaway, told the other girls: "The boys aren’t here. Follow your heart. Do what you want to do and deal with it when we get back."

But some fans of the show think that Jessie might have ulterior motives, as one tweeted: "Jessie is very strategic, she’s not gonna do anything with these guys but she’s going to encourage to the other girls to build connections with the Casa boys- then her & Will will be loyal and appear like they’re the strongest couple. I peep the game."

Another wrote: "I don’t care what none of y’all say. Jessie is playing the game to a tee, with every move from the playbook. Attaching herself to the sweet geeky one the public loves. Encouraging the other girls to stray to strengthen her position. This girl wants to WIN!."

A third tweeted: "Jessie is going to stay loyal but she is going to push everyone to explore other options. I still believe she’s playing the biggest game."

Whilst Will and Jessie appear to be going strong, Will's head seems to have turned already, as he gets to know new bombshell, Layla Al-Momani in a teaser for Tuesday night's episode of the show.

The pair enjoy a cosy chat on the terrace as Layla tells Will: "You shocked me.. You’re more chatty than I thought you would be."

Will then admits: "I feel like I gravitate to you."

A teaser from tonight's clip then sees will appearing to lean in for a kiss with Layla.

Prior to that, Layla had some honest words for Will after he asked her what she thought of his relationship with Jessie.

She told him: "I don't think you two are suited to each other. To me it doesn't look real but I guess I don't know too much as I haven't been here while you were together."

Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
