Love Love Island? Our Factor 50 email brings all the goss direct to your inbox

It’s been 18 months since the Love Island villa has been on our screens, and it’s set to kick off with a bang as the boys are forced to make a shocking decision within the first episode.

After the contestants couple up for the first time on air, the boys will be given the chance to leave their date for a late arrival, just hours after they pair up.

During a game of truth or dare to allow the contestants to get to know one another better, Toby Aromolaran, 22, is the first islander to receive a text.

Sent from the lucky lady herself, Chloe Burrows gets some hearts racing as she awaits for her date outside the villa.

It reads: “Hey boys. How are you? Chloe here. I’ve just arrived and I’m outside the front of the Villa. I’d like to take you all on a date but I’ll let you guys decide who wants to come and join me. Hopefully I’ll see you soon.”

Which boys are going to take the plunge and ditch their date for the blonde bombshell and which are going to stay faithful to the girl they matched with?

The girls first meet their future matches after they arrive one by one at the infamous Love Island villa and settle in for the next eight-weeks.

The viewers are introduced to Kaz Kamwi, Liberty Poole, Sharon Gaffka, Faye Winter and Shannon Singh as they discuss who their ideal date would be.

After the girls get to know each other by the fire pit, they are introduced to Jake Cornish, Aaron Francis, Hugo Hammond, Toby and Brad McClelland shortly before the matchmaking began.

Once the group have all been coupled up, returning host Laura Whitmore, who won't be joined by her husband Iain Stirling, hints that the girls might have a challenge on their hands, as she gave a final piece of telling advice before she left.

Speaking to the five matches, she said: “Girls, just a little bit of advice from me, if you want to keep hold of your man you may have to graft a little bit harder. That’s all I’m saying.”

And one lucky man has already put on the moves less than 24 hours into the villa, as Brad McClelland landed his first smooch of the series.

Brad, 26, managed to score a “decent kiss” from one of the girls during the first episode but viewers won't find out who until show airs on Monday.
