Love Island star says ‘everyone hates each other’ in the villa

Former Love Island star Coco Lodge has shared some villa tips for new Islanders, ahead of the show's winter launch in South Africa, which starts on ITV tonight.

Coco, 27, faced her fare share of drama on the 2022 summer show, after arriving into Casa Amor as a bombshell and striking up a romance with Andrew Le Page, 28, whilst things were rocky with his now girlfriend, Tasha Ghouri, 25.

She took to Tik Tok to give the new Islanders some sound pieces of advice, including to "remember no one [in the villa] is your friend," explaining that "everyone low-key hates each other."

After telling new Islanders not to "let them suck your t****y," referring to Andrew's famous line of the series, and telling them how to go for a number two discreetly, Coco told the Islanders to look out for themselves.

She said: "It sounds harsh but no one is your friend. You all kind of low-key hate each other because it's a game. So just remember no one is your friend, no one can be trusted and you just have to have your own back.

"So if there is someone you want to go for, but one of your friends is the one interested in them, … they are not really your friend. You need to do what you need to do for your post-career and maybe your love life, but let's be honest, none of you are in there for love."

Speaking about going to the toilet when there are so many people in the same villa, Coco, who admitted she had to ask the producers for a laxative, said the "trick is, and what we used to do in the villa, I think it was invented by Ekin-Su or Paige, is to take a beauty product, like a hairspray can, into the toilet so you have something to read whilst you poo."

When referring to Andrew Le Page's now infamous comment that he "licked her t*t, or whatever," Coco said: "Number one, don't let them suck your t***y before you commit. So don't do that, don't be silly, keep it in your bra."

Coco has often been vocal about her time on Love Island after she was romanced and then quickly ditched by Andrew Le Page when he went back into the main villa and reconciled with Tasha, who he is still in a relationship with today.

Tasha was left speechless after Coco explained the X-rated antics that she and Andrew got up to in the villa, after saying that she felt that Tasha should know the truth.

After a chat with the boys, Coco explained that she and Andrew shared more than a kiss in bed together and that at one point he sucked her boobs and told her he “wanted to ruin her”.

She was evicted from the villa soon after, after failing to couple up with anyone else on the show.

Love Island winter 2023 starts at 9pm Monday 16th January on ITV2 and ITVX.
