Julius Cowdrey has reached the end of his Made in Chelsea journey.
Part of the reality TV cast since 2016, when he emerged as Olivia Bentley's childhood friend, the 30 year old revealed on podcast Secure the Insecure with Johnny Seifert that threats were made on his life via social media, leaving him no choice but to quit.
Apparently, one particular troll suggested they wanted to "run him over with a car".
The star told the host: "My God, when you first receive online abuse based on your actions and it's been edited, it's really tough. I've seen some awful things – It's not very nice."
"Everything with Made in Chelsea is short-lived, nothing is long-term, apart from maybe the friendships you form," he went on to reflect.
"I looked at my life after I'd just turned 30 and I'd been to all these amazing countries for filming and thought, now is a good time for me to go. I need to focus all my energies on things that actually I'm going to do for the rest of my life.
"I'm also in a relationship as well now and I'm really happy. Does my life exist on the show anymore? I don't think it does."
Julius is currently dating Georgia May Salamat.
Made in Chelsea viewers were heavily critical of Julius back in October after he brutally pied co-star Willow Day, who was hoping romance could blossom between them.
The duo originally hit it off during the show's juicy summer stint in Mallorca – where Willow was staying at the time – sparking her to up sticks back to London and surprise the singer-turned-life coach.
In later scenes, Julius and Willow joined various co-stars on a weekend trip away where they enjoyed a raunchy game of dares. This signalled the end of them after being asked to share their true feelings for each other.
"I love your company and I think you're awesome, but I don't see myself being in a relationship with you and I don't see myself being committed to you," divulged Julius infront of their mates.
"I think you should have maybe told me that a little bit sooner, no?" replied Willow, as the rest of the room stifled their gasps.
"Julius is THE WORST! I don't understand what these women see in him!!!!" tweeted a fan after the twist aired.
"Willow just f*ck Julius off, you've been embarrassed for too much already" and "Wow that was cold Julius, and those girls smirking would be crying and screaming their heads off if they were told that in front of people," added another pair.
