Bronson Norrish has spilled the beans on his Married At First Sight match Ines Basic, explaining exclusively to OK! online that show producers had to step in to stop her from trolling him.

The pair starred in the series which aired in Australia in 2019, but is currently being shown to the UK audience on E4, meaning they're the hot topic of the moment.

Bronson and the 31 year old started out rough as walking down the aisle Ines' first words to her stranger-fiancé were: "Hi Bronson, can we get rid of your eyebrow ring please?"

Their situation didn't improve as Ines, who was recently compared to Angelina Jolie by fans, later embarked on an affair with fellow star Sam Ball, 27, going behind 35 year old Bronson and 29 year old Elizabeth Sobinoff's backs to sleep together.

Now, two years after the series first came out, Bronson said he holds no grudges against the pair over what happened on the hit TV programme, but he does have ill feelings for another reason.

When asked about the onscreen ordeal, he explained: "Not for what happened on the show but she did troll me for two months after the show aired.

"I had to fully block her, I had to get producers in to stop her."

Listing the ways in which Ines, who recently said she was left "suicidal" after receiving backlash from the show, trolled him, he continued: "She made up fake lies in the media about me, said that we slept together, calling my family inbred… to the point where I had to get producers to jump in and stop her."

He added: "I don't know why she did it, I think she was trying to get attention in the media."

Ines' representatives have been approached for further comment by OK! Online.

Earlier this month, it was reported that Ines claimed producers covered up Bronson's demand for an open relationship.

She told Daily Mail: "I look so remorseless and like I don't care. But Bronson was into open relationships… They just didn't air that part. I was like that's such a crucial part to miss out.

"He was into open relationships and sharing women. I was so angry for so long because it was such a huge part to not air. I felt silenced. I really got the s**t cut.

"I was like f**k who did the edit on this? You went too hard."

When asked about these claims, Bronson told OK! that there was no truth to them. He said: "Absolute bulldust, I don't know why she's saying that. Trust me, if I had said that it would've been on the show because it's definitely show-worthy.

"I don't know what part of her and I were ever in a relationship to start with anyway. There was no relationship from day dot, so I don't know what she's on about."
