Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan’s gigantic £1.3m mansion seen nearly finished after 2 years

It’s been a labour of love two years in the making, but Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan's dream home is finally nearing completion.

The former TOWIE star and his actress wife, both 35, have tirelessly worked to renovate their £1.3 million mansion and transform it into their dream home, after first purchasing the Essex property back in October 2019.

Taking inspiration from the iconic Hollywood homes we’ve all come to envy and a more historic Georgian inspired exterior, the renovations themselves are thought to have more than doubled the value of the original property, with the stunning home now worth in the region of at least £3.5million.

Now with the finish line in sight, fans can see for themselves just how much work has gone into the luxury transformation, with aerial images showing an array of crisp white brick and immaculate grey roof tiles as the home nears it’s final stages of completion.

Kitted out with floor length windows and French doors, the home maximises the natural light available, while a modest balcony also allows a perfect vantage point to look out over the gardens, or to simply watch on of the stunning sunsets that Mark himself previously highlighted in a recent Instagram post.

Boasting five bedrooms, three dressing rooms, a state-of-the-art gym, in-house spa and sauna, an outdoor pool and even a pool house, the home also comes with a few tech additions such as solar panels and heightened security to make sure the house is economical to run, good for the environment and perhaps most importantly, safe and secure.

Set in five acres of land, the property will soon be home to a beautifully manicured garden and even offers the potential to expand further down the line if the couple want more room to work with.

In 2021 the happy couple showed off a landscape drawing of the incredible plans for their garden which is set to come complete with spacious cream sun loungers and cabanas next to the pool and a huge u-shaped seating area surrounding a fire pit – perfect for entertaining.

Mark wrote alongside the snaps: "Our garden means the world to us and we love the outdoors. We searched high and low to find the best landscape designers, after realising that there was only one company for us….

"We begged for them to make some time in their busy schedule.”

Adding everything from a luxury spa to decadent gardens, the palatial home is fit for even the most discerning of celebrities, with the pair documenting their renovation adventure on Instagram to allow fans to follow them every step of the way.

Boasting highlights such as a home gym that Mark himself once jokingly teased meant he and his wife now have “no excuse” for getting out of a workout now, and even a dedicated cinema room complete with a bespoke sofa courtesy of Bella Home, the couple mixed down to earth functionality with a clear dose of luxury.

Equipped with a swimming pool and a luxury spa suite hand crafted by The Mosaic Spa Company, every attention to detail has been taken to make the couple’s vision a fully fledged reality.

Whether it’s the Georgian inspired exteriors, complete with up and down lighters, or the crisp clean white carpets indoors, that even prompted a very unique house rule or two, the mansion is definitely a home that will keep the happy couple safe and secure for many years to come.
