Love Actually star Martine McCutcheon has wowed fans with an unrecognisable throwback snap.

45 year old Martine took to her Instagram page on Tuesday to share the picture from her childhood modelling days with her followers.

In the black and white throwback, Martine can be seen as a young girl posing with a huge smile and jazz hands, modelling a Sylvester the Cat jumper from Tammy Girl.

Her long dark hair has been put up in two messy buns, with her look finished off with a short black skirt and matching tights.

The former EastEnders actress, who is gearing up to celebrate her 46th birthday this weekend, captioned the snap: "Erm… Exsqueeze me guys… But where's the sun gone?!

"Me and my 11 year old self (modelling for Tammy girl) are a bit in shock – I thought it was meant to be lovely all week & it's my birthday on Saturday!

"Let's put it out there "Shine on Saturday! Shine on saturday!""

Fans were delighted by the adorable picture and the nostalgic mention of Tammy Girl, which closed its doors in the UK in 2016.

Taking to the comments one fan said: "Tammy Girl, that takes me back!!! THE place to shop"

Another added: "Tammy girl was my ultimate favourite treat, not seen or heard that for years."

Others mirrored her manifestation saying: "The sun will shine on your birthday, you don't look a day past 25. Hope you have a lovely birthday on Saturday Martine."

A fourth said: "Sending sunshine from a very sunshiny Algarve."

Martine first appeared on British TV screens in the 80s in commercials, before landing a role on CBBC television show Bluebirds.

However, she became a household name in her iconic EastEnders role as Tiffany Mitchell.

The star was propelled to stardom, taking on the role of Natalie in 2003's Love Actually, performing opposite Hugh Grant.

Martine also saw success as a singer in three piece group Milan, before going it alone with her solo album reaching number two in the UK charts.
