Maya Erskine Joins the Cast of Disney+’s Obi-Wan Kenobi Series!

Maya Erskine is taking on an incredible new role.

The 33-year-old PEN15 actress is set to star in Disney+‘s forthcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series, Deadline reported Thursday (April 22).

The Emmy nominated-star will reportedly appear in at least three episodes in the series in a supporting role, although specific details regarding her character have not yet been unveiled.

The forthcoming series is set 10 years after the events of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. The “special event series” brings back Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen in their respective roles as Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker.

Previously announced stars include Moses Ingram (The Queen’s Gambit), Kumail Nanjiani, Rupert Friend, Indira Varma, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Uncut Gems director Benny Safdie.

Joel Edgerton and Bonnie Piesse will reprise their prequel trilogy roles as young Luke Skywalker’s Uncle Owen Lars and Aunt Beru.
