Mrs Hinch has been praised for a candid photo of herself after giving birth to her baby son Lennie.

The cleaning sensation and her husband Jamie announced the arrival of baby Lennie Alan James, their second child, last month and have been in a “baby bubble” ever since.

Mrs Hinch, real name Sophie Hinchliffe, took to social media to share a photo of herself in hospital after welcoming her son, saying “everyone has a reality behind closed doors”.

In the photo, Sophie, 30, is seen cradling her newborn on her chest while smiling for the camera.

She wrote alongside the image: “Reality: I had just finished being stitched up, I had a quick shower down, changed my clothes, got back into bed and Jamie said ‘smile’ and this is what he got.

“It was not the right time for one of his random photos.”

Mrs Hinch then emotionally added: “Please remember people only share what they want to share on this platform. Please never compare yourself, everyone has a reality behind closed doors, and possibly going through things you wouldn’t believe.

“Without our struggles we wouldn’t have our success. Be proud of yourself. Goodnight everyone.”

It comes after Sophie opened up on finding breastfeeding her son “very hard”.

“If I said breastfeeding was easy I would be lying. I’m actually finding it very hard but it’s getting a little easier every day,” the star told fans while responding to questions.

She went on to explain that part of the problem is she that has a “blocked milk duct” but has found a warm flannel, electric toothbrush and massage on the area has helped.

Sophie also shared an update about little Lennie’s progress after having a visit from her health visitor.

She wrote: “We had a lovely visit from our midwife and health visitor. Heel prick is done (I hate that part) but Len is now 8lb! I just love knowing he’s gaining weight, it really settles my worries.

"I hope you’re all ok, we’re half way through the week already. Have a wonderful day everyone.”
