Harry & Meghan took netflix by storm on Thursday when it hit the streaming service with it’s highly-anticipated first three episodes.

The docuseries follows the lives of Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle as the latter navigates joining the British Monarchy and the journey ultimately leading to the couple’s resignation from their respective royal roles.

But if you’ve already finished the first three episodes, theres still almost a week to go for the final three, which will be released on Thursday 15 December.

Perfect for: A spot of escapism

 wdnesday shot to No.1 in the UK Netflix charts following its November 23rd release, with 411,290,000 views as of December 9 – making it No.3 most-watched English-language TV title in the streaming platform’s history. 

The show, which is a spin off The Addams Family, focuses on the titular Wednesday Addams (played by Jenna Ortega) and follows her journey at Nevermore Academy.

The synopsis reads that she ‘attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a killing spree and solve the mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago’ during the show,

Complete with eight episodes which are all available to stream on Netflix now, the comedy-horror is bound to keep you entertained and slightly spooked this winter.

The Crown 

Perfect for: Some more royal entertainment

Sticking with the royal theme of this week’s Netflix release, why not hop on The Crown bandwagon? 

The period drama documents the life of Queen Elizabeth II and the royal family from the beginning of her reign with a fictional twist.

Featuring Claire Foy, Olivia Colman and Imelda Staunton all playing the late Monarch at different times.

And if you’ve seen the previous episodes, season five was released on the streaming service just last month – with number six set to be the last.

If not, strap yourself in for a plethora of royal drama that will keep you going until Easter.

Got a soft spot for mystery sci-fi? 1899 could be the binge-worthy show for you this winter. 

The series was released on November 17 and follows immigrants on a steamship travelling from London to New York.

The group get caught up in a mysterious riddle after finding a second vessel adrift on the open sea. 

And it appears the show has taken social media and Netflix by storm, reaching No.2 in it’s Top 10 list with it’s initial eight episodes.

Firefly Lane 

Perfect for: A girls’ night

Series two of this drama series has recently dropped on Netflix and sees Katherine Heigl and Sarah Chalke reprise their roles as best friends Tully Hart and Kate Mularkey.

The show follows their 30 year friendship, going back and forth through time during it’s non-linear plot.

Focusing on their respective journalism careers blended in with personal woes, this one is the perfect blend of easy-watching and gripping.

Dead To Me

Ferfect for: Some comedic relief 

The third and final season of Dead To Me hit Netflix on 17 November and left fans shocked with it’s finale.

Once again starring Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini, the duo play two polar-opposites who become friends at a support group for people who have suffered loss.

Achieving a whopping 19,540,000 views on Netflix and three weeks in it’s Top 10, the show went down a massive treat.

The Sandman

Perfect for: A gripping watch

Featuring Tom Sturridge and Gwendoline Christie, The Sandman was a summer relase for the streaming platform and came out on August 5.

The drama synopsis reads: ‘Upon escaping after decades of imprisonment by a mortal wizard, Dream, the personification of dreams, sets about to reclaim his lost equipment.’
