Nike Postpones Sneaker Collab With Travis Scott After Astroworld Tragedy

Nike has announced that it is postponing its collaboration with Travis Scott in the wake of the Astroworld Music Festival tragedy, in which ten people were killed and hundreds of others were injured.

“Out of respect for everyone impacted by the tragic events at the Astroworld Festival, we are postponing the launch of the Air Max 1 x Cactus Jack,” Nike’s SNKRS app said in a statement issued on Monday.

The release of the Air Max 1 x Cactus Jack shoe was reportedly scheduled for December 16.

Dozens of lawsuits have been filed against the rapper, surprise performer Drake, and organizers of the music concert.

The concert at the Astroworld Music Festival in the Texas city of Houston on November 5 went on for 40 minutes even after the stampede

Reports say that the audience were being injected with drugs during the concert.
