Offset Seen Together With Pierre P Thomas for First Time Amid QC Lawsuit

The ‘Ric Flair Drip’ emcee seems to be cordial with the Quality Control Music CEO backstage at the Grammys, where the rapper reportedly fought with Quavo ahead of the In Memoriam segment.

AceShowbizOffset seemingly extended an olive branch to an old acquaintance at the 2023 Grammy Awards while also reigniting a dispute with another person. The rapper was seen reuniting with his former boss Pierre “P” Thomas at the Sunday, February 5 event, amid reports of his fight with Quavo.

In a video which has circulated online, Offset and the Quality Control Music CEO looked cordial as they were seen walking together backstage at the Grammys. The footage saw a man having a hand on Offset’s shoulder as he followed behind P.

The “Ric Flair Drip” rhymer appeared to say something along the lines of, “Hold me down… on the red carpet,” as they walked through the crowded alley. Some fans believe the clip was taken immediately after Offset’s alleged scuffle with Quavo.

As for Offset’s encounter with Quavo, they reportedly got involved in a physical altercation backstage ahead of the latter’s performance. TMZ reported that Quavo prevented Offset from joining him on stage to give a special tribute to Takeoff during the In Memoriam segment. Apparently, the Recording Academy asked Offset to join Quavo during his performance of “Without You”. However, the reports alleged that Quavo blocked Offset from appearing on stage.

Shortly after the feud rumors emerged, Offset seemingly shut down the reports as he tweeted, “What tf look like fighting my brother [y’all] n***as is crazy.”

However, another clip seemed to suggest that the two former Migos bandmates did have a scuffle at the Grammys. In the video, Cardi B seemingly yelled at her husband and his cousin Quavo. The “Bodak Yellow” raptress was heard shouting, “Both of y’all wrong. This is not right!” She then screamed, “No b****h, shut the f**k up cuz you shouldn’t have been talking.” However, it’s not clear who she’s yelling at or what exactly had set her off at that moment.

Offset filed a lawsuit against his former label Quality Control in 2022, seeking solo independence. At the time, P responded by calling the 31-year-old rap star’s complaints “lame.”
