Peter Andre says ‘nothing prepares you for lack of sleep’ as he admits to wanting another baby

Peter Andre has admitted that "nothing prepares you" for the lack of sleep brought on by a newborn baby after recently admitting he and his wife Emily, 33, have been talking about having another baby.

Writing in his weekly column, the 49 year old's comments came as he shared his advice for parents-to-be Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury after they announced they're expecting their first child together. "All the tough moments are short-lived," he said. To hear more from Pete, read his full column here!

Love Island Little One

Huge congratulations to Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury on the news they’re expecting a baby.

I know I’m always saying I wouldn’t want my kids to do Love Island, but you have to remember some great couples have come out of it and Molly and Tommy are one of them.

If they asked me for any advice I’d probably advise them to invest in a good coffee machine with strong beans because it will become their best mate.

Nothing prepares you for the lack of sleep. But you’ve got to enjoy everything. All the tough moments are short-lived but so are the wonderful ones, so embrace it, as they grow up in the blink of an eye.

A Full-On Few Days

Last week was a busy one. On Wednesday I went to Embankment to perform for an incredible charity Jog On To Cancer, a fundraising event for Cancer Research UK hosted by James Ingham.

It was a great night and I love what the evening stands for so I, of course, couldn’t say no to performing a few songs.

I also went to see Gary Barlow’s show A Different Stage with my pal Jason Donovan and I took Millie along. It’s a must-see! Gary is brilliant.

We all hung out for a bit afterwards, it was so nice. Millie loved the show too. She knew of Gary from Walk The Line last year.

She said to me, “Is he the judge?” It was very cute! She’s at an age where she doesn’t fully understand who people are so she doesn’t ask too many questions!

The Anti-Woke Should Wake Up!

I’ve been loving Strictly so far and I think Will Mellor is brilliant. He’s been so impressive.

People have criticised the show for being “too woke”, but I think the same-sex partnerships are great and should have always been there.

It’s about dance as an art form and it shouldn’t matter who’s dancing with who. I don’t know why it makes some people so annoyed.

The anti-woke brigade are overdoing it now and they are very quickly becoming the minority.

Black History Month

October is Black History Month. Currently Wales is the only UK nation to make teaching of Black, Asian and minority ethnic histories and experiences mandatory, but I’d love to see this happen in the rest of the UK, too.

I think it’s so important for all children to learn about history and what people went through and are still going through.

Personally, I have been so influenced by music of Black origin and culture.

If it wasn’t for artists like Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and Prince, I wouldn’t have wanted to geti nto the music industry.

I hope everyone will support and celebrate Black History Month.
