Piers Morgan, 56, took aim at Zayn Malik, 28, in a scathing Twitter post. It comes after the British musician pled guilty to four counts of harassment.

Zayn shares one-year-old daughter Khai with model Gigi Hadid, 26.

A court in Pennsylvania says the singer attended court on October 27 and plead guilty to all four counts.

In a separate allegation, Zayn is alleged to have pushed his partner’s mother Yolanda Hadid, 57, but the singer “adamantly denied” hitting the model’s mum.

The harassment charges relate to an incident on September 29, at his home.

Taking to Twitter, Piers has hit out at the singer, in view of his 7.9 million followers.

The outspoke journalist retweeted an article that confirmed that Zayn has been charged with harassment.

He wrote: “Horrible. Met this little charmer @zaynmalik once and he was a surly snarly brat.

“By contrast, when I dined with @YolandaHadid, she was delightful, as was her daughter @bellahadid.”

Bella, 25, is the younger sister of Victoria Secret’s model Gigi.

According to MailOnline, the court documents claims that there was an argument in the couple’s home near New Hope, Pennsylvania.

Yolanda went to the couple’s property while Gigi was modelling in Paris when a row ensued.

Zayn posted a statement on social media on Thursday that confirmed there was an incident.

He denied striking Yolanda, as reported by TMZ.

The same publication has said that Zayn and Gigi are no longer in a relationship.

The pair started dating in 2015 and had their daughter Khai in 2020.

In a statement on Twitter, the former One Direction singer said: “As you all know I am a private person and I very much want to create a safe and private place for my daughter to grow up in.

“A place where private family matters aren’t thrown on the world stage for all to poke and pick apart.

“In an effort to protect that space for her, I agreed to not contest claims arising from an argument I had with a family member of my partner’s who entered our home while my partner was away several weeks ago.”

Zayn rose to fame after he appeared on the X Factor and won the competition in 2010 alongside his bandmates One Direction.

Express.co.uk has contacted Zayn Malik, Yolanda Hadid and Gigi Hadid’s representatives for comment.
