Pregnant Lauren Goodger has opened up about her birth plan, revealing she is considering opting for a water birth because she “loves a bath.”

Speaking in an exclusive interview with new magazine, Lauren, who is 22 weeks pregnant, said she likes the idea of feeling totally relaxed and thinks that a water birth will help her achieve that aim.

The excited mum-to-be explained: “I’m always in the bath. I feel like that will really relax my back, my muscles, my noon. It’s just relaxing.”

And after sharing her thoughts on a potential water birth on social media with her Instagram followers, Lauren has been inundated with people encouraging her to do it.

She continued: “I put a story up [on Instagram] and I must have had hundreds of DMs, all of them saying, “It’s the best thing I ever did!”

Continuing that she doesn’t like the thought of giving birth to her baby girl on a bed, Lauren said: “Imagine being on that bed with all the sweat. The only reason I’d like to do it in the bed is it would be nice for photos.”

“I’ve had the best time, I have spoken to my family, have become really close to my partner and I’ll have this beautiful gift at the end,” she said.

"I’m really excited to be a mum and start this next chapter of my life – I believe I’m going to be a good mum.”
