Shaughna Phillips has pleaded with her social media followers to stop sending her birth horror stories ahead of her induction this weekend.
The former Love Island star, who is pregnant with her first child, has gone over her due date and has now been advised it will be time for doctors to step in.
After announcing she will be induced on Sunday (April 2) after going into early labour briefly last week, the 28 year old posted her thoughts in an Instagram story.
"A polite request," she began. "Please refrain from sending me your horror stories of being induced, or your opinions on why me being induced is wrong for my baby.
"I appreciate you may mean well, but it is not helpful. As a first time mum, you will know the anxiety I am already feeling, and the last thing I need to hear is horrible experiences or being mum shamed."
While making the firm request, Shaughna also shared her gratitude for all the encouragement and support from her fans.
"Thank you for all the lovely messages I've received," the expectant mum said. "They far outweigh the negative ones."
Earlier in the day, the reality TV beauty also opened up on her current state of mind ahead of labour, as time stretches on day by day.
"If I didn't have a filter on my face one of my followers would definitely call an ambulance for me," the star said in her stories, along with a close-up snap.
"Induction booked for Sunday. My March babe clearly wants to be an April babe like their mama," Shaughna added.
While the last few weeks have been hard as Shaughna reached the end of the nine months, she recently celebrated her baby with a beautiful baby shower.
As well as a stunning zoo theme, complete with animal print balloons and a giant stuffed giraffe, there were also enormous teddy bears adorning grazing tables.
With gorgeous bronze, white and gold shades decorating the room, the mum-to-be became emotional as she smiled and laughed with friends for photos.
Wearing a fitted white maxi dress for her special day, Shaughna couldn't have looked happier as she geared up for the birth of her little one.
"Sunday couldn’t have been any more perfect for my baby shower, celebrating my baby with all of my favourite people in one room," the star captioned her reel of the day. "I am so ready for the next part of my life to begin, my sunshine baby is going to be loved beyond words, whenever you’re ready little one, I’m waiting.
"The day could not have gone as amazing as it did without my family at @off_limits_ent, I am so lucky to have you all, thank you all so much for making the day so special.
"The biggest thank you to all of the small businesses that made the day what it was, your creativeness and talent is second to none! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!" the star added.
