Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been voted as the "most respected" royals behind The Queen.

A survey has shown that people between the ages of 13 and 25 in Britain see Her Majesty, 95, as the most respected member of the Royal Family, with her receiving 26 per cent of the votes.

However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, aged 36 and 39 respectively, came in a close second with 21 percent of the votes.

They finished ahead of Harry's brother Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton, who came third with 11 per cent of the votes in the survey.

Teenage mental health charity stem4 led the survey, asking young Brits to select the public figures they respect the most.

Voters said they selected Harry and Meghan because "they are brave and resilient, and even when things go wrong, they carry on."

Dr Nihara Krause, the founder and CEO of stem4, said: "To earn the respect of young people today you don't need to earn a fortune or have good looks.

"It's far more important that you show bravery, resilience and compassion for others and for nature.

"Those are certainly qualities the Queen shares with some of the other names on this list such as David Attenborough and Marcus Rashford."

Despite her being voted as one of the most respected royals by Brits, a royal expert has recently claimed US audiences are becoming "tired" of Meghan's "nonsense."

Journalist and commentator Megyn Kelly spoke out about Meghan and husband Harry and their recent need to divulge all about what they experienced earlier this week.

GB News host Dan Wootton asked her: "Are the people in the US believing Meghan Markle, are they buying her stories?

"We hear again now that there is this conjecture about whether she actually made this call to the Queen. In America does Meghan Markle still maintain support?"

Megyn replied: "I think perhaps the American people are more supportive of her than the Brits are at this point.

"But I think it is also divided by political party over here. The Republicans, in my estimation, after speaking with them and watching some of the polling, they have had enough of their nonsense – Meghan and Harry's.

"The Democrats love them because they're pro-woke, they're victims, they want to talk about their mental health problems all the time even though, you know, they want to do it from their palace or their new palace in Montecito.

"Some on the left, not normal liberals, but some of them that consider themselves woke are kind of into that."
