The Queen Consort Camilla sits down with the UK Laureate
Queen Consort Camilla, 75, has reportedly invited her ex-husband Andrew Parker Bowles, 83 to the Coronation ceremony on May 6.
Camilla and Andrew married in 1973 and were together for 22 years. Despite separating, the pair have remained friendly ever since.
Supporting Camilla’s decision to invite Andrew is TV personality, Lizzie Cundy, 54, who even vowed to invite her own ex-husband, footballer Jason Cundy, to her future wedding.
She told the Daily Mail: “So many are shocked that Queen Camilla is inviting her first husband Andrew Parker Bowles to the Coronation of King Charles.
“Well I salute her for it! It shows what a great and healthy relationship with her family she has and, on this huge historic day, she wants to share it with her ex.
“Many might not understand this and though I’m never likely to have a Coronation, I would definitely invite my ex-husband to my wedding if I were to marry again.”
Lizzie and Jason tied the knot in 1994 and enjoyed a 17-year marriage where they welcomed two sons – Josh, 28, and James, 23.
The pair divorced in 2012 and he went on to get remarried to Hannah Pedley.
Meanwhile, Camilla and Andrew share two children, Tom Parker, 48, and Laura Lopes, 45, as well as four grandchildren.

Tom is widely known as a successful food writer, whilst Laura is a popular curator and has a name for herself in the art world.
A source told the Sunday Times that Andrew and Camilla remain “joined at the hip”.
One of Camilla’s friends, the Marchioness of Lansdowne, also told the publication that everyone “loves Andrew” and that he’s a “real charmer but he’s always terribly misbehaving”.
She added: “Through adversity, they’ve kept a really good family ethic. It helps with their children and grandchildren.”
King Charles will be crowned King and Camilla as Queen on May 6 with the world watching.
