Roo Irvine has been presenting Antiques Road Trip alongside David Harper every evening this week. However, many viewers will be left wanting to know more about the star.

Arusha ‘Roo’ Irvine has been a popular face on televisions for her bargain hunting expertise.

The Scottish presenter has also appeared on shows like Bargain Hunt and Flipping Profit.

However, it’s her quirky outfits and antique expertise on Antiques Road Trip which have won over fans recently.

This has also left viewers keen to find out more about the star’s life outside of the screen.

Is Roo Irvine married?

Roo is married to Mark Irvine, who is also an antiques dealer.

The pair tied the knot back in 2012 and live in Scotland.

The couple also have two Maine Coon cats.

Together Roo and Mark own a shop called Kilcreggan Antiques.

This is an antiques shop in Argyll and Bute in Scotland.

Roo has previously opened up about starting her business after the sudden death of her father.

She opened it in 2013 and revealed it was her husband to urged her to “go for it”.

On her website, she wrote: “Kilcreggan Antiques came about quite by (bad) luck when suddenly, and unexpectedly, in 2013 my wonderful Dad passed away.

“I was heartbroken and devastated.

“Then just 3-weeks later my husband Mark also lost his father to a long battle with cancer.”

She then revealed both of them decided to leave corporate jobs behind and reevaluate their lives.

Roo continued: “We walked away from our senior corporate jobs and focused on taking care of our widowed mothers.

“I’d always loved antiques and had developed a keen eye so my husband suggested we ‘go for it’ – and Kilcreggan Antiques was born.

“Out of some of my darkest days came a sliver of light. Fate?”

Mark has also opened up about being “lucky” to be married to Roo.

In his Twitter bio, he wrote: “Semi-retired (yeah right !) married to BBC TV Antique expert @RooIrvine – very lucky, blessed and I know it.

“Poppa to 2 gorgeous Maine Coon girls.”
