Sam and Billie Faiers’ mum Suzie signs up for dating app in bid to find love

Sam Faiers and Billie Shepherd’s mum Suzie Wells has opened up about using dating apps to find love after previously signing up to celebrity dating app Raya.

The 53 year old, who regularly appears on Billie and her husband Greg Shepherd’s reality show The Family Diaries, confessed all about her time on the dating app, which has seen celebrities including Channing Tatum and John Mayer swiping left and right.

She exclusively told OK!: “I was on Raya for a while, but I don’t know if I had my location set wrong.

“Some of the men were really fit but they were in America and Italy. Samantha said: ‘Go and meet someone in Italy,’ but I can’t be emigrating! I was looking out for famous people, but I didn’t come across any.”

On a recent episode of The Family Diaries, viewers saw the star go on a date to Thorpe Park with family friend Jamie Corbett, who bidded thousands of pounds for the pleasure at a charity auction.

But during their date at the Surrey theme park, Suzie admitted that she hasn’t felt like dating due to the menopause.

And speaking to OK! about how it has affected her dating life, Suzie confessed that it had left her feeling down in the dumps and not wanting to meet someone new.

“You feel so low in your menopause and like you can’t be bothered but I don’t want to park myself up just yet!” she laughs.

“I do always say to the girls that if I met someone, I would like a relationship.

"The girls say: ‘You’re not going to meet anyone sitting at home,’ And my friends say: ‘You’re always hanging out with your kids, you’re not going to meet a man doing that!’ but I do love that. But I do need to up my game with my social life.”

Suzie, who has tried various treatments for her menopause symptoms, continues: “But I think we’ve just got a lot going on at the moment.

"There's Billie moving into her amazing new house, the new babies and I’m moving. I think when I move it will be a clean start and I’ll get back out there.

“Some of my friends have said testosterone is amazing [as a treatment to relieve symptoms of the menopause]. My friend said it might get me out more and make me find a man!”

Billie, 32, who is currently expecting her third child with Greg, recently moved into their new home – an incredible £1.4 million mansion in Essex.

Meanwhile, Suzie is due to move into their old home which is close to their new abode.
