Shamed Jeremy Clarkson labelled UK’s sexiest man in new survey

Jeremy Clarkson has been named “the UK’s sexiest man” in a new survey.

Despite the presenter’s recent controversies, he seems to have caught the eye of many ladies across the country, beating celebs such as Gary Lineker and Mike Tindall to win the top spot in a new survey.

A survey of 2,000 women across the country saw respondents give points to a list of 50 male celebrities from across the worlds of entertainment, politics and sport, with the Diddly Squat Farm owner scoring an impressive eight out of ten points.

The score won him the title of “UK’s Sexiest Man”, ahead of footballer Gary (seven and a half points) and rugby player Mike (seven points).

Other celebs to make it onto the list included Martin Lewis, Dermot O’Leary and Idris Elba, who all feature in the top 10.

The survey, which was conducted by dating site IllicitAffairs.com, claimed: “Clarkson’s wax jacket and tweed shirt are helping give off the bad boy farmer vibe which women find sexy.”

It comes after the presenter denied rumours that he'd split from his girlfriend and been axed from TV, after it was announced he would be stepping down as host of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?.

The Clarkson's Farm host shared his thanks for fans after receiving an influx of messages across his social media, following the news that the ITV quiz show will only be running for one more season.

As a result, some fans speculated Jeremy had been fired from the show following a furious backlash to his column berating Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex last year.

The Sun removed the column as a result, and Jeremy later said he was incredibly and deeply sorry for his words in an apology post, also announcing to fans that he had contacted the Duke and Duchess directly to apologise.

"So many kind messages about today’s reports," the star wrote on social media.

"But relax. Lisa and I have not split up and I have not been sacked as host of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire."

A representative for ITV previously told OK!: "As we have said for several weeks, ITV is contractually committed to a further series of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? (which has now been recorded.)

“There are no further commissioning commitments beyond that currently as is typical with such shows where we make commissioning decisions on a series by series basis.

“Therefore for the avoidance of doubt neither Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? nor Jeremy Clarkson have been cancelled," the statement concluded.
