Former The Talk host Sharon Osbourne, 68, has broken her silence on her exit from the US Chat show while blasting Prince Harry as “the poster boy for white privilege.” Appearing on Real Time with Bill Maher yesterday, the flame-haired TV personality addressed her controversial exit from the show following her defence of friend Piers Morgan and his comments about Meghan Markle after her landmark interview with Oprah Winfrey.
You know when they say white privilege? You know, right there with Harry

Sharon walked across the stage to greet the chat show host to applause and cheering from the live audience.
“That’s nice,” said Bill referencing the support the former The Talk presenter was getting.
“Aren’t you glad you came?” he asked.
“Yes, I am,” admitted Sharon.
Speaking to the TV host, Sharon opened up about how she felt following her decision to leave The Talk.
“I’m angry. I’m hurt,” she revealed.
Sharon’s admission comes weeks after CBS confirmed that she had made the decision to leave The Talk at the end of March after 11 seasons of presenting the show.
During her landmark interview with Oprah, Meghan Markle claimed to have experienced suicidal thoughts after she joined the royal family.
Following the claims, Piers Morgan said on Good Morning Britain: “I’m sorry, I don’t believe a word she said, Meghan Markle. I wouldn’t believe it if she read me a weather report.”
Sharon then defended her friend’s statements on The Talk in early March, sparking backlash on social media, which saw the star being branded a “racist”, and led to the show going on hiatus while an internal review was conducted.
Addressing Piers’ comments, Bill said: “He was called a racist and lost his job and you were called a racist and lost your job, do I have it right?” Bill asked Sharon.
“You got it right, that’s exactly how it went,” she stated.

“I’ve been called so many things in my life. I am so used to being called names.
“But a racist is one I will not take.”
Sharon also labelled Harry as the “poster boy” for white privilege after he opened up about his situation alongside his wife while talking to Oprah.
She said to the show’s host: “You know when they say white privilege? You know, right there with Harry. Right there.
He is the poster boy. So you know, he sits there and says, ‘Daddy cut him off and he’s not on the wages anymore’ and he was boohooing about it.
“You can’t feel empathy for that. Because you’re a healthy, bright, educated young man. You can do whatever you want to do. Your life is your own.”
The former The Talk presenter went on to circle back to hers and Piers’ comments addressing Meghan’s claims.
“But disagreeing with somebody does not make you a racist in my book,” she added.
