Sheridan Smith looks smitten as she shares rare snap with new boyfriend

Sheridan Smith has shared a stunning new selfie of herself cosying up to her actor boyfriend Alex Lawler.

The 40 year old theatre favourite and TV actress first started dating her beau over 20 years ago, and now the pair are loved-up again after getting back together recently, even sparking engagement rumours.

The couple appear to be going from strength to strength and 40 year old Sheridan was positively beaming in the latest picture.

Posting it to her Instagram page, Sheridan rocked her long blonde locks and leaned in close to her man as they both smiled into the camera.

It appeared the pair were sitting in a bedroom with a lamp on in the background, and Sheridan had slipped into a cozy cream knitted jumper.

The actress captioned her post with a simple heart emoji.

The star’s friends and followers took to the comments to share their support.

“Looking gorgeous Sheridan xx,” one person wrote.

Another friend posted: “You look so happy and calm Really pleased for you xx.”

A third gushed over Alex as they shared: “Jeez, his eyes.”

While a fourth person simply declared: “I love this.”

“Gorgeous pic,” TV presenter Lizzie Cundy added.

Since then, Sheridan has also posted an adorable update on her one year old son Billy, whom she shares with ex-fiancé Jamie Horn.

“And just like that…I have a toddler! they grow up so fast!” she gushed in a video of her walking her tot through the kitchen. “The best feeling in the world watching my baby boy flourish.”

The star welcomed her little boy into the world in May 2020, and this July she and Jamie announced they were separating after three years together.

The Bafta-winning beauty looks happier than ever after rekindling her romance with old flame Alex.
