Simone Biles has a new record!
The 24-year-old gymnast picked up two medals at the Tokyo Olympics, making her tie for the most decorated US gymnast in Olympic history.

Simone won a silver in the team event and bronze on the balance beam this year. Back in Rio in 2016, she won gold in vault, all-around, team and floor, and a bronze on balance beam. She has a total of seven Olympic medals.
The only other gymnast who has the same amount of medals is Shannon Miller, who picked up five medals in 1992 and two in 1996 (pictured here).
Aly Raisman follows behind with six medals, with Nastia Liukin and Mary Lou Retton at five each. Shawn Johnson East has four Olympic medals and Gabby Douglas has three.
Earlier this year, Simone became a seven-time all-around US Gymnastics champion. Between Olympic and World Championships, she is also tied as the most decorated gymnast of all time with 32 medals, alongside Larisa Latynina of Soviet Union.
