The Pixar animated film, which was released on Disney+ on Christmas Day (December 25), made history on Nielsen’s weekly U.S. streaming rankings, finishing at No. 1 for the week, Deadline reported on Friday (January 22).
“With 1.669 billion total minutes of streaming, the film beat out The Office, which racked up 1.435 billion minutes in its waning days on Netflix,” the outlet reported.
In comparison, Bridgerton received 1.2 billion minutes, The Midnight Sky had 1.11 billion and in it’s final days on Netflix, The Office had 1.435 billion minutes.
Soul‘s numbers are equivalent to almost 17 million full watch throughs of the movie, which has a total run time of one hour and 49 minutes, according to Disney+.
That week was also the first time that Disney+ had two titles in the top 10 rankings on the Nielsen streaming chart. The Mandalorian sat at No 5 with 1.02 billion minutes.
