Stacey Solomon, 31, has hit back after facing some backlash over her family’s move to Pickle Cottage. The Loose Women panellist shared the first snaps of her and fiancé Joe Swash’s, 39, new home earlier this week in view of her 4.2million Instagram followers.

Stacey took to social media today to thank fans for their supportive messages in response to her house move, but also admitted she had been trolled over the past few days.

Sharing some screenshots of positive comments she had received, Stacey slammed her naysayers in a post this afternoon.

The sweet comments from her fans detailed how proud they were of the former X Factor contestant and how her house move had brought them “so much joy this week”.

The mum-of-three wrote alongside the screenshots: “There’s always going to be unkind people out there.

“And I’ve seen a fair few over the last few days especially.

“People will always try to bring you down… but they don’t matter at all.

“These kind of messages are everything. They cancel out any nastiness and just mean so so so much more.

“Love you all to the moon and back…”

It comes after Stacey revealed that she and her family had moved into a £1.2m countryside home in Essex.

The mansion, which Stacey has branded their “forever home”, boasts its own library and 2.5 acres of land.

Stacey has shared several videos of her sons, one-year-old Rex, who she shares with Joe, and her two older children from previous relationships, Leighton and Zachary, enjoying the opulent surroundings of the property.

The presenter gushed about their new home in a post earlier this week, writing: “We can not even describe how it feels that this is home.

“Never in a million years did we ever think this would be. We feel so lucky and so grateful to have found this hidden treasure closer to our family and further out.

“We can’t wait to fill it with love and give it our everything. To raise our family here. And just to start afresh.”

Stacey previously shared her concerns about being “judged” as she prepared to move from the family’s old home.

The star admitted she was being careful to make sure her former property was left meticulously tidy for the new homeowners, due to her reputation as a cleaning and organising expert.

While sharing a video of herself jet washing the family’s former patio, Stacey penned: “Patio furniture is on the grass so I get to have some fun with the jet wash.

“Some of you are asking why I’m doing things the next people could do.

“Firstly, I’d be embarrassed to leave random things like the vinyl on when everything else is gone and I feel like it would be savage not to give everything a really good clean.

“Also, imagine the judgement if anyone finds one speck or dirt or hole in the wall it’ll be straight in the paper.

“Plus, I actually enjoy this and get so much satisfaction from it so wahoo.”(sic)
