Stacey Solomon wants another baby as Joe Swash admits they get no help

Stacey Solomon accuses Joe Swash of ‘chatting up all the mums at school’

Joe Swash said wife Stacey Solomon wants to have another baby as he admitted the couple does not receive any help when it comes to raising their children.

The couple are already a family of six with their youngest daughter Belle, who was born in February, toddler Rose, who was born in October 2021, and Rex, four.

Their siblings are Stacey’s two sons from two previous relationships, Zachary, 15, and Leighton, 11, and Joe’s eldest son Harry, 16, who is also from a previous relationship.

In a new interview, the TV personality said Stacey would like to wait until Belle and Rose are older before adding a new addition.

He told OK! magazine: “They’re only babies for three or four years before Stacey starts wanting another one, so I have to make the most of it now!”

Joe added: “I like to be hands-on. They’re only going to be kids for a short amount of time, so me and Stacey are just trying to make the most of it.”

The former I’m A Celeb star also revealed that the couple share the parental duties and make sure neither are working on the same day, so someone can be at home with their children.

“We have no help apart from family,” says Joe. “We try to rotate it so when I’m working, she’s not, and when she’s working, I’m not.”

The on-screen star said he has a “chaotic” parenting style as he never follows through on the rules and is often dubbed the “fun” parent.

Joe and Stacey tied the knot last summer at their home, Pickle Cottage, in Essex after six years of dating and the couple moved in together in 2018.

The actor also shared he wants to foster children in the future once the offspring he shares with wife Stacey are older.

Joe, 41, made the decision after making BBC documentary Joe Swash: Teens in Care when he discovered the care system has been underfunded by the government for more than a decade.

He also has a personal connection to the situation – his mother Kiffy has been a foster carer for 15 years.

Joe Swash: Teens in Care airs Tuesday 11th July from 9pm on BBC One.
