“It’s definitely more Social Network than Lego Movie,” Taron shared about the flick in a recent interview with British GQ. “It’s about the rights to the game. It’s an insane true story.”

Written by Noah Pink, Tetris: The Movie will tell the story of the creation of Tetris via computer programmer Alexey Pajitnov, during the fall of the Iron curtain in the USSR.

Taron is playing the role of Dutch-born video game entrepreneur Henk Rogers, who secured the global rights to distribute Tetris on video game consoles.

Just recently it was revealed that Taron would be starring in a new Apple+ TV series and returning for a sequel to this movie as well!
