Fans of fashion and memes can rejoice, the 2021 Met Gala is reportedly still happening, according to Page Six. The star-studded event was canceled in 2020 due to COVID-19, so it’ll apparently take place at a later date this year in hopes of things being more back to normal.
This year, the event may be taking place on September 13 rather than its staple date of May 1. Page Six’s source went on to say that Vogue is hoping to get inaugural poet Amanda Gorman and CFDA chairman Tom Ford to act as hosts, a position most recently held by Harry Style and Alessandro Michele.
