Tiger Woods’ House Is Even More Impressive Than You Think

There’s no denying that Tiger Woods is one of the greatest athletes of our era, so it makes perfect sense for HBO to release a documentary on the golfing legend in January 2021 called Tiger. The two-part documentary doesn’t hold back, showing both Woods’ ascent into the stratosphere of athlete-superstar but also the darker moments of his history, including his cheating scandal, according to HBO. It does end on a high note, with Woods making an impressive comeback by winning the 2019 Masters. So yeah, definitely a pretty different story than the previous year’s major tiger-themed docuseries, Tiger King.

Part of the reason Woods’ life is so fascinating because his success has come with big money. Celebrity Net Worth lists his fortune at $800 million, with average yearly earnings of $50 million. Casual. So it’s no wonder that Woods has accumulated an impressive real estate portfolio over the years and one house in Jupiter Island, Fla., is particularly noteworthy. Not only is it stunning and massive, but it’s also worth a small fortune. Keep reading for all the details on Tiger’s Kingdom.

Tiger Woods has a 100-foot swimming pool

Tiger Woods’ home on Jupiter Island, Fla., was initially purchased in 2006, according to The New York Times, for $40 million. The docks on the property were large enough to accommodate his yacht, per the Times, so that was a plus. He bought the 12-acre, oceanfront property with the expectation that he would tear down the existing house to customize his own digs, and that’s exactly what he did.

Woods didn’t end up moving into this home until 2010, and, after building the new home, The Washington Post listed the property’s total value at $54.5 million. The estate stretches from the Intracoastal Waterway to the Atlantic Ocean, according to Golf News Net, and includes a 100-foot swimming pool and a 60-foot diving pool, plus tennis and basketball courts.

The house is 9,700 square feet divided up into two parts. The first part is the living area, which boasts three separate bedroom suites, plus the master bedroom, while the second part is a 6,400 square foot structure that includes a gym, a movie theater, and even an oxygen therapy room, according to Golf News Net. The two sections are connected by a glass-enclosed bridge. Woods’ home is anything but a casual, little beach haven but hey, when you’ve been an unrivaled golf superstar for over two decades, you can pretty much do what you want.
