The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback and the Brazilian catwalk star reportedly signed the prenup that simplifies the division of their $733 million empire years before their high-profile split.
AceShowbiz -Fans may wonder how Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen were able to settle their divorce quickly. If a new report is to be believed, the now-former couple had an “ironclad” prenup that they signed years before their high-profile split.
Page Six reported on Wednesday, November 2 that the prenup allowed the swift division of their $733 million empire. A source spilled to the outlet, “There was an ironclad prenup set down before they married in 2009.”
“They both have their own separate business entities, so the separation of their wealth wasn’t that complicated in the end,” added the informant. “The only other major factor was dividing up their massive property portfolio.”
It is believed that Tom will keep the $17 million mansion currently under construction on the “billionaire’s bunker” Indian Creek Island in Miami. They bought the property in 2020 and demolished it.
Prior to their divorce, it’s reported that Gisele, who is reported to have $400 million fortune, quietly purchased her own home in Miami Beach, a modest three-bedroom and three-bathroom property for $1.25 million. Sources claimed she will likely use this property as an office as she also bought another larger home in the area.
In addition, Gisele will retain their home on the Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica, where she regularly vacations with the kids. The now-exes’ massive property portfolio also includes a home in the Bahamas, another at the exclusive Yellowstone Club in Montana and a New York City apartment, where Gisele had been staying amid their split.
While the divorce documents are confidential, sources confirmed that Tom and Gisele, who wed in February 2009, will share joint custody of their children, 12-year-old Benjamin and 9-year-old Vivian. Tom, who has an estimated net worth of up to $333 million, also has 15-year-old son Jack with his ex Bridget Moynahan.
After months of living apart, Tom and Gisele finalized their divorce on October 28. The supermodel filed for divorce in Glades County, Florida. The 45-year-old NFL star did not contest the filing though he reportedly “didn’t want” to get divorced.
