Victoria Beckham, 48, shared footage of the “dump” she thinks her home has turned into, while David Beckham, 47, complained that his mammoth efforts around the house usually go “unappreciated”, in a new Netflix documentary.

Tousled sheets and random objects littered around each room seem to be par for the course for the ex-Spice Girl, who admitted while filming candid footage: “It’s a dump.

“You can see why I drive my husband crazy, because he is super-super-tidy,” she shared in one video.

“This would be giving David a panic attack now, a full-on panic attack!”

David has admitted to being the polar opposite of his “messy” wife, suggesting that he has “obsessive compulsive disorder” and can’t shake off the urge to arrange household objects in pairs, or in straight lines.

He also admitted in new footage that he sometimes spends hours cleaning and tidying the family home long after Victoria has started slumbering in bed.

“I clean it so well, I’m not sure it’s actually appreciated so much by my wife, in all honesty,” he exclaimed.

“The fact that when everyone’s in bed, I then go around, clean the candles, turn the lights on to the right setting, make sure everywhere is tidy.”

The self-confessed neat freak added: “I hate coming down in the morning [when] there’s cups and plates and, you know, bowls. It’s tiring going around every single candle cleaning it.”

David says he realises his behaviour around the house is “weird”, but that dirty candle glasses are his “pet hate”.

Meanwhile, fashion entrepreneur Victoria, who has over 30 million followers on Instagram, has defended that while she might be incredibly untidy in her husband’s eyes, she isn’t unclean.

“I’m a germophobe – everywhere has got to be super-super-clean. I mean I will disinfect everywhere,” she insisted.

She reassured David that she does appreciate him during the footage, but he was less convinced, joking to the production team that her kind words were all for show.

“Don’t believe that for a second. She sounds so sarcastic when she says it,” he exclaimed.

Meanwhile, Netflix confirmed last summer that a docu-series featuring the world-famous Beckhams was in the works, after reports emerged suggesting David had signed a £16 million deal.
