Victoria Beckham had left fans fearful of a break-up when her tattoo tribute to husband David was seemingly removed from her wrist in a recent Instagram video shared by the star, leaving it conspicuously bare. In classic Beckham style, she remained silent in the face of the rumours, but the fashion designer has now shared a message from David that will ease any worries over the famous couple.

The former Spice Girl silenced any rumours of a split when she posted David’s affectionate note, wishing her latest collection to be a big success at Paris Fashion Week, alongside a huge array of flowers.

“Dear Victoria, can’t wait to see all your hard work pay off!” he’d penned in the hand-written card.

“I know the show will be amazing, so proud of you! Lots of love, David. x”

The card rested above a large bouquet of white roses, and a thrilled Victoria wrote alongside the photo: “I love you @davidbeckham.”

Concern around the duo first emerged when Victoria shared a makeup video with her 30.2 million followers to promote her Bitten lip tint recently – but all eyes were on her missing tattoo.

The Beckhams are known for their love of inkings, with both David and eldest son Brooklyn continuously adding new tattoos to their collections.

David is estimated to have around 80, while Brooklyn has outdone his ex-footballer dad in the body art stakes by boasting more than 100.

Although Victoria has had far fewer, she has enjoyed marking her romance with David via her tattoos, and the one she had removed most recently was of her husband’s initials, DB.

It is, as of yet, unclear why Victoria made the decision to get the inking removed.

She’d had DB tattooed on her wrist, plus the words “Together forever, eternally” in Hebrew to mark their nuptials.

She also had another inking to mark the date they had their wedding vows renewed on May 8 2006, represented by the Roman numerals VIII-V-MMVI.

However, all of those are now notably absent from her body, which eagle-eyed fans noticed when she promoted her new lip tint, Je T’Aime, on the Instagram makeup video.

“Why did you get your wrist tattoo removed?” concerned fans asked incredulously.

There could be a simple explanation for the decision however – one which has nothing to do with a shift in her devotion to David.

Victoria has been slowly scaling down her tattoo collection for a few years, amid claims that she was concerned they detracted from her business-like look.

Her VB brand fashion collections have made her a regular fixture in Vogue magazine, which has sparked claims that she was aiming for a more sophisticated look in keeping with the high-fashion market.

Meanwhile, Victoria is preparing for her latest show in Paris, which is part of the Fashion Week celebrations.

She noted on Instagram that she is looking forward to seeing close pal and actress Eva Longoria at her show – a fellow celeb she has had a bond with for years.

Posters advertising Victoria’s leather range have been plastered all over the streets of the French capital, and anticipation is rising as the event draws closer.

Her son Cruz has already expressed his excitement via his own Instagram account, but there is no word on whether Brooklyn will be present with wife Nicola Peltz.

The pair now live in the USA, to be closer to Nicola’s billionaire parents, whose home they wed at in Florida, and they were absent from the long summer holiday the Beckhams enjoyed on their yacht this year.
